If you're here, it's because you have some questions. Perhaps you want to know what a session would be like or you're nervous about what to expect? Maybe you're wondering how long till you could see the benefits? Maybe you want to know what I don't do - like what's a Doctor of Manual Osteopathy (D.M.O.) vs a D.O.?
Well, some of the most common questions I'm asked are answered below. But if you would like to know an answer to a question not below, or would like more details on a question below, please reach out here.

Common FAQs
What should I expect with my first appointment?
Your initial appointment will consist of a thorough health history review and global manual assessment.
"We are the sum-total of everything that has ever happened to you." - J. G. Zink, D.O., FAAO
We will go through:
- a thorough review your health history
assessment
- manual assessments in relationship to how you move in gravity
- how the fluids in your body move (blood, lymph, interstitial, CSF etc) in relationship to pressure cavities of your body
- Dr. Zink's Common Compensatory Pattern (CCP) assessment
- how the brain connects neurologically to the other areas of your body.
- finally, a treatment plan including both therapy and home care remedial exercises and/or referrals
What should I wear?
Comfortable! What you wear is totally up to you. Being comfortable is the most important thing for me. But generally speaking, tight, rigid, or thick materials make my job more difficult (ie jeans, overly tight/restrictive athletic wear). However, as long as you are comfortable, I will do my best to assess and treat you within your comfort zone.
Whats the cost of treatment?
Do you offer military, first responders or medical professional discounts?
Do you offer package or treatment plan rates?

Follow up 55 min: $165
Follow up 25 min: $115
YES!

YES!
Package Purchase of x5 Sessions upfront, will you discounted 10% treatments
Do you bill to insurance?
Direct Billing?
In Short: I work for you - not an insurance company.
-
I can offer you a super bill, but I do not direct bill to insurance companies. I don't believe in a numbers game.
-
ETHOS: I will do my best to treat what you present within the shortest amount of time possible. If I have treated you 3x and we aren't seeing any change, I don't believe it is ethical to continue to treat down the same pathway.
-
Do you mentor and/or teach other therapists?
Yes, but on a case-by-case basis. I am only willing to mentor one mentee at a time. My rate is $20 / hour if mentorship is in conjunction with patient's treatment (with consent of patient as well) during regular work hours. But it's $200/hr if done outside of treatment schedules.
*note: travel is extra if not coming to me
Do you mentor and/or teach other therapists?
Yes! I teach multiple courses. My top 3 requested are:
- the Respiratory-Circulatory Model (philosophy) including the Common Compensatory Pattern (CCP) assessment according to Dr. J. G. Zink, D.O., FAAO
- global assessment and treatment in relation to gravitational lines and movement
- Lymph: treating the 3 primary diaphragms of the body, the lymphatic pumps, and the myofascial components of the disease

I am not a physician/MD. I hold the title of "Doctor of Manual Osteopathy" as well as have a Ph.D., in Osteopathic Philosophy & Rehabilitation. As such, I do not diagnose disease/conditions and can not prescribe medications for the same. I assess and treat the body using manual therapy techniques learned, most of which stem from Classic Osteopathic Manual Therapy.
